  • 5/5 from David Charles, attended May 2026: This leather workshop was genuinely one of the best things I've done in YEARS. Naoum is an outstanding teacher - I'm not crafty at all and over the course of this relaxed workshop he helped me make a gorgeous goat's leather wallet that has instantly become my most beloved and precious possession. I feel so snazzy now whenever I pay for anything and I can't wait for people to ask me where I got it! Naoum is also an outstanding host - the workshop is held in his spacious living room and we were made to feel completely at home. He made sure we had a constant supply of water, tea, coffee and even beer once we'd finished playing with the sharp tools! Honestly, I don't know what more I can write in this review to convince you that this will be a stupendous way to spend your time. Naoum holds space in a very relaxed way - there's never any rush and he helps you make your item as special as you deserve. Worth saying as well that this is a passion for Naoum - he's there to have as much fun as you will!

  • 5/5 from Kelly Jefferson, attended Apr 2026: We LOVED our workshop with Naoum on Saturday! Our group decided to make passport holders (X3) and a card holder- we all had different competences and Naoum was a very patient and helpful teacher. We enjoyed choosing our different colour leathers, thread and choice of embossing because our end products felt really personal, like something you can't find in a shop - it was a fab way to celebrate our friend's birthday. Naoum was a wonderful host- thank you very much!

  • 5/5 from Ralph Elmeouchy, attended Jan 2026: I joined this leather workshop over the weekend with a friend and had a great experience. Naoum helped me make a leather cardholder from scratch, with clear, step-by-step guidance on how to use the tools, working the leather, and staying safe. Naoum was patient, knowledgeable, and very hands-on. Whenever someone made a mistake, he stepped in and managed to save the piece with impressive skill. I may be biased since he’s a friend, but the final result honestly exceeded my expectations. The workshop was hosted at his home, which felt warm and welcoming, with generous treats like fruit, croissants, coffee, and even wine. A relaxed and rewarding experience overall.
  • 5/5 from Giulia Bryson, attended Jan 2026: Naoum is a great teacher: through very detailed steps making the cardholder was surprisingly easy. He has extensive knowledge of leather manufacturing and very generous with it; he explained the various techniques, tools, and methods used with different leather types, as I wish to continue with this craft. Naoum is also a great host, very welcoming; the workshop had a great atmosphere, with treats, music and interesting conversations. I’m already planning a further lesson with Naoum with a more complex project.
  • 5/5 from Zeina Hawa, attended Dec 2025: This was my second session with Naoum and was another excellent and very enjoyable workshop! The process is extremely well explained and organised and you are guided through everything step by step. Naoum is super experienced and understands the craft inside out and is a very good and supportive teacher. You have all the tools you need, the quality and choice of leather is really amazing too, and you can customise your own item with any letters/numbers etc. The size of the class is perfect so you get lots of attention and nice chit chats, good music, comfortable atmosphere. I'm so pleased with my card holder and never thought leather crafting could be so accessible, meditative and fun! I will be back again for sure.
  • 5/5 from Mitchell Gerringer, attended Dec 2025: Naoum was extremely hospitable and very attentive. He made the class feel very easy and had all of the insight needed to guide us through the process. I will be coming back to make another piece very soon!
  • 5/5 from Bruno Alves, attended Nov 2025: The teacher was extermely helpful and kind. I felt welcome and not rushed at all despite it being my first time, I would reccomend coming to this workshop for anyone who's interested in leatherworking at all

  • 5/5 from Auri Nessi, attended Mar 2025: I had a fantastic experience at the leather card holder workshop! Naoum, the instructor, was incredibly knowledgeable and made the entire process easy to follow. He provided all the materials needed, guiding us step by step to create our own card holders. I really enjoyed the hands on experience and was thrilled with the end result. The best part is that you get to take your finished wallet home the same day! Perfect for a unique gift or a personal keepsake. I’m already looking forward to signing up for the next workshop!
  • 5/5 from Imad Sarji, attended Mar 2025: Very fun and informative :) This workshop was recommended by a friend, and definitely worth it. I was visiting London, so I customized the wallet to add a nice souvenir for this visit :) We made 2 wallets, very nice design, and I am actually using it. Thank you Naoum for the amazing workshop, highly recommended.
  • 5/5 from Coralie, attended Feb 2025: I had the best experience crafting my own customised card holder and I absolutely love the result! The atmosphere of the workshop was very warm, cosy and friendly. Naoum knows how to make you comfortable and he has amazing teaching skills! He helped me a lot during the process with a lot of patience and advice. I would recommend for anyone who wants to forget about the outside world for a moment and escape for a chill and creative afternoon!! I went on my own but for sure it would be nice to do it again with a friend or partner!! Thank you!
  • 5/5 from Zeina Hawa, attended Feb 2025: Such an excellent class, super happy with my final product. The process was so well laid out and explained, I had access to my own set of materials throughout. The quality and selection of the leather was incredible. The pace was really good, and Naoum gave a lot of one on one attention to each of us based on extensive experience and experimentation, and the size of the class allowed this to happen very well. It was nice to also be able to customise the design of my card holder and Naoum helped me throughout that process. It was also nice to be able to emboss your own letters or shapes into the leather. I never thought I'd like leather crafting so much but it was incredibly fun, soothing and exciting, and I'm considering a next class as I already gifted the item I made. Was also super easy to use gift cards through ClassBento.
  • 5/5 from Stephanie Stylianou, attended Feb 2025: Had a great time learning to work with leather. Naoum takes great care to explain and demonstrate the process and uses higg quality ethically sourced materials. Absolute must try!
  • 5/5 from Carla Guarin, attended Feb 2025: Great way to spend a sunday afternoon! I made the wallet and am very happy with the result and it's all thanks to Naoum's guidance. I would definintely recommend this workshop to anyone interested in learning something new or even if you have been working with leather and want someone who can help you refine a skill or challenge you to making something bigger. Generally, Naoum just wants you to enjoy the class and come out with something you are happy with. The class size is small, so he made sure to spend time with each of us 1:1 to explain each step, so we never feel lost, and you benefit from hearing the instructions multiple times that way too. He has all the materials you need to create your project, the space is very comfortable (as it's his living room), and you'll feel like friends in the end. A plus is that he purchases sustainable leather and he explains this all to you during the session.

Hi there! I’m Naoum, and I’m so excited to share the joy of leather crafting with you.
I first picked up leatherworking during the Covid lockdown, and it didn’t take long before I was hooked. Back home in Aleppo, I was always into crafts, especially through my scout group, and teaching others how to make things brought me so much happiness. When I moved to London, I wanted to recreate that magic, and leather crafting was the perfect fit for a small space and big creativity.
In my workshops, you’ll make your own one-of-a-kind leather item. I’ll provide everything, tools, materials, and guidance, and you’ll get to add your own personal touches, like embossing. Whether it’s your first time crafting or you’re already handy, we’ll have a great time creating together.
Let’s make something beautiful and have some fun while we’re at it!
