You will be introduced to the tambour hook and how to control it in all directions through the fabric.  You will initially use the chain stitch and how to cast on and off the fabric. Later, more professional aspects will be introduced including beads and sequins.
In the second stage, we will introduce the bugles beads and seed beads.
Later in the session, you will be learning  how to stitch the sequins using the « en riviere » stitch technique.
The aim of this tambour beading class is for you to feel comfortable using the hook and how to apply beads and sequins to be ready to move on to the next level.
The class is pitched towards beginner students and the limited class size will allow you to develop at your own pace with plenty of one to one time with the tutor.
Tambour beading will need practising at home to become comfortable and I will make my beginner recorded class available for 6 months complimentary. In addition to the live zoom class and the technique learned, you will be able to watch the videos as many time as you like :)
A link to access the class will be send to you two weeks before the course start with instructions on how to access your course. You will need to download zoom and enter the details that you will receive.
The class can be recorded if all the participants (8 students per class maximum) agreed and it will be available to watch as many time as you like for 6 months.
