Hi! I’m Latoya Shaw, a multidisciplinary conceptual artist working across photography, film, writing and object-based art.When I moved from Los Angeles to London a year ago, photography became how I got to know the city. It got me out of the house, following my curiosity and noticing all the little details that give a place its character.I created Picture This to share that feeling with you. It’s a playful, mindful approach to photography—less about taking the “perfect” picture and more about slowing down, exploring and discovering what catches your eye.And for those of you looking for qualifications: I hold a BFA from the University of Southern California, studied at ArtCenter College of Design and completed a Creative Direction for Fashion Media programme at UAL: London College of Fashion. So yes, we’ll be playful—but you’re in very capable hands!
