  • 5/5 from Ikra Hussain, attended Sep 2026: Great introductory class. I made a small glass flower and although it is not perfect, I think it’s cute and unique. My instructor, Meg, gave clear instructions and was very helpful. Fun activity to do on your own. Be aware of the health & safety rules to avoid burns/accidents.
  • 5/5 from Katherine, attended Sep 2026: Teacher was amazing and very good at explaining the techniques. Lots of options as to what you can make. It was really easy to book and the 2 hour slot we had went in a flash. A real treat and would def ho sgain! Thank you.
  • 5/5 from Jen Jasmine, attended Aug 2026: We had an amazing session with Meg. She was so patient and supportive- helping us through each step. She demonstrated everything very clearly and was on hand to help and advise. Would highly recommend giving this a go if you are looking for something different and challenging to try. Lovely workshop (especially the aircon) and a great range of equipment and resources.
  • 5/5 from Sarah Biggs, attended Aug 2026: Please be Careful how you Get the flowers home! I really enjoyed this class, and the teachers were very helpful and patient and I think I quickly got the hang of the flower-making. I managed to make 3 lovely little flowers in the alloted hour and and I will definately book the 2-hour class. Please note, while it should go without saying that Glass Is Fragile, the flowers are VERY delicate and the glass is very thin, and even though staff pack them well for transport with paper straw I was dismayed to find that why I got home, every one of the pieces was smashed! (The perils of public transport.) This is by no means any reflection on the staff or the class, but a warning to anyone taking it to make sure you don't get curious about taking the flowers out of the packaging too quickly and maybe take an extra bag or a small box with you for going home. Thanks again to everyone there and I hope to visit you soon!
  • 3/5 from Suzie Black, attended Aug 2026: I came here with my auntie for my birthday and I genuinely really enjoyed the creative side of the experience and watching our pieces come to life. It was exciting and very relaxing - I would definitely do it again!!! However, I was quite concerned about the safety and lack of guidance throughout. We were given gloves, but I was given three different pairs before I even started because they already had holes in them. My auntie accidentally touched the hot glass twice and ended up with blisters on both index fingers, despite wearing the gloves. I know we were told not to touch anything hot and accidents can happen, but when you’re working with fire, extremely hot glass and a blowtorch, I would expect the safety equipment to be properly checked and for there to be more supervision throughout. For the amount of money we paid, I expected a more guided and structured session. I often felt I had to actively ask for help rather than being guided step by step throughout. Given the nature of the activity and the equipment involved, I think better supervision and a more guided approach would make the experience much safer going forward. I do want to say that when my auntie was burned, the staff member dealt with it quickly and gave her burn gel, which we appreciated. However, overall I think the studio needs to review the condition of its protective equipment and consider providing more guidance and supervision during the session.
  • 5/5 from Adhavan, attended Jul 2026: Did some flower petals and connected them to some stems. Was really fun, our teacher was excellent - really kind and helpful (especially when I was doing things wrong), and gave us great safety guidance too.
  • 5/5 from Angelika Olszowa-Maciejewska, attended Jul 2026: Great workshop, glassworking was completely new for us, I recommend the 3h option to learn the medium and take your time. There are a lot of flowers to choose from and you will be shown the steps needed to recreate what you picked. You get a lot of creative freedom and you are encouraged to experiment. The glass can be unforgiving but it's also very relaxing when you make petal after petal.
  • 5/5 from Samreen Aslam, attended Jul 2026: I can't recommend this enough. From the moment we arrived, everything was well organised and friendly. Jerry explained both the safety side and the techniques in a really easy-to-understand way, giving everyone confidence to work independently. I loved that each flower turned out completely different, and it was amazing to see everyone's creativity come through. I'd happily book another workshop here.
  • 5/5 from Rosalba Vitale, attended Jul 2026: I wasn't sure if two hours would be too long, but the time flew by. There was plenty of opportunity to practise the techniques and personalise the flower with different colours. It felt like a genuine learning experience rather than just following instructions.
  • 5/5 from Amina Yakub, attended Jul 2026: We booked this as a family activity and everyone had a fantastic time. Holly was so patient with everyone and made sure we all got individual help when we needed it. Such a welcoming studio.
  • 5/5 from Noemi Ferraro, attended Jul 2026: Absolutely loved it! I’d seen videos of lampworking before but never imagined I’d get to try it myself. The tutor explained everything step by step, and I left with a beautiful flower that now sits on my desk.
  • 5/5 from Eira Griffiths, attended Jul 2026: Such a unique workshop. The atmosphere was relaxed, the group size was just right, and I never felt rushed. Definitely one of the best craft classes I've been to.
  • 2/5 from Anonymised ClassBento customer, attended Jul 2026: A friend and I booked the two-hour course. I'd say it's much more suitable for people who have done something similar before or who naturally lean towards arts and crafts. For complete beginners or newbies, though, I wouldn't recommend it. The environment was relaxing, which was nice, but I felt like we were mostly left to our own devices. We'd occasionally get a comment if we were doing something wrong, but usually about 10 minutes after we'd started, by which point we'd already spent a lot of time heading in the wrong direction. It felt like a bit of a waste and wasn't particularly supportive when trying to learn a completely new craft. Overall, the class felt quite disorganised. It often felt like the three instructors were just having a chat between themselves rather than actively guiding us. We did eventually make something that vaguely resembled what we'd hoped to create, but at the end we were left standing around waiting for our items to be packaged. No one explained what was happening, so we were just left waiting while the instructors continued chatting. The "beautiful gift packaging" turned out to be a small paper bag with some tissue paper, which was a little underwhelming. To make matters worse, my piece literally broke as I walked out the door, and my friend's broke on the way home. Overall, I was very disappointed and honestly feel like it was a huge waste of money. My friend and I regularly do creative art classes around London, and this has to be one of the worst we've been to. We've definitely made some questionable pieces over the years, but this experience was frustrating because, as beginners, we really could have done with more structure and guidance. As I said, I don't think this is a great class for beginners or first-timers. It's much better suited to people who already have some experience or who are naturally quick at picking up arts and crafts. I will say that the instructors were friendly, and all the information and instructions beforehand were very clear. The venue was also easy to find. Unfortunately, the class itself was rather disappointed.
  • 5/5 from Jayanthiny Kangatharan, attended Jun 2026: This was my first class in a lampwork glass flower workshop and the teachers were super patient in teaching me the different steps. They were very encouraging in their guidance and I learned varied lampwork techniques. I created different shapes and it was a joy to see the different handcrafted glass flowers come together eventually.
  • 5/5 from Valentina Moretti, attended Jun 2026: A lovely introduction to lampworking. Relaxing, creative and very rewarding once you see the finished piece.
  • 5/5 from Daciana Popescu, attended Jun 2026: I booked this as a gift experience and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our weekend. Learning a completely new skill was fun, and the finished flower looks amazing displayed at home.
  • 5/5 from Rukhsana Mahmudi, attended Jun 2026: Really enjoyed this class. Clear instructions, friendly atmosphere and a beautiful glass flower ring to take home.
  • 5/5 from Coralie Winterbourne, attended Jun 2026: Had such a great time at this workshop. I’d never worked with glass before, but the tutor made everything feel safe and approachable. Watching the glass soften in the flame and gradually turn into a flower was fascinating. I was genuinely surprised by what I managed to create.
  • 5/5 from Anna Purser, attended Jun 2026: Holly our teacher was wonderful, so patient and calm. We loved the process of making our cherry blossoms and so pleased we could take them straight home. Can’t wait to go back again and again and make all the things!
  • 5/5 from Etheline Foxworth, attended Jun 2026: The whole experience was much more hands-on than I expected. The tutor guided us step by step, but we still had plenty of freedom to make our flowers unique. A very satisfying workshop.
  • 5/5 from Matas Guzauskas, attended May 2026: Class was very fun, teacher made it very simple to understand and helped make our first flowers out of glass.
  • 5/5 from Elodie Ji, attended May 2026: Holly was a great teacher, helpful and patient. We enjoyed a lot these 2 hours. The only thing that could be better is a protective package for our fragile work. Paper Kraft bag and loose straw are definitely not enough Glass dome should be better or at least at sell.
  • 4/5 from Khatijah Ahmed, attended May 2026: The class and teaching itself was good and a relaxing atmosphere! There is a timer that starts from the moment you start the activity which is good! There was some confusion about the amount of time you are buying and the guidance on which flowers you can/can't make within the allotted time wasn't very clear. Having the displayed flowers seperated and arranged into what you can make within a 1 hour class, 2 hour class and 3 hour class would be helpful. I bought the taster class thinking it was 2 hours but its only an hour (misleading when booking) and it was difficult getting into the building (the door to access the building was locked which made us late to the class)
  • 2/5 from Shuang Song, attended May 2026: Poor attitude from the teacher was not appropriate for the £98 we paid. The teacher was quite young, acted like they really didn’t want to be there teaching this class, didn’t explain the techniques while demonstrating, and forgot to tell us to wear gloves until we proactively asked them, which is a safety concern The teacher was extremely preoccupied with the time limit, and was inflexible with requests. We arrived 10 minutes early to the studio but had to call the teacher to say we’d arrived. Starting setup was slow and ate into our 2 hour time slot, which was not extended. However, glassworking itself seems really interesting and the studio had great facilities. Would love to try this again with an engaged teacher who reflects the price point.
