Inspire Creativity and Build Artistic Foundations with Our Kids & Teens Art Classes
At Sunny Art Centre, we believe that every child has the potential to create art that is meaningful and beautiful. Our weekly Sunday classes for children and teenagers (ages 7–17) are designed to nurture creativity, build confidence, and develop solid artistic skills in a supportive, inspiring environment.
What We Offer:
  • Structured Learning: Our curriculum focuses on fundamental skills in drawing and painting, including proportion, perspective, shading, and colour mixing. We teach classical techniques used by professional artists while encouraging each child’s individual style.
  • Diverse Mediums: Students learn to work with pencil, charcoal, watercolour and acrylic paints, exploring different textures and methods while gaining technical versatility.
  • Personalised Guidance: Small class sizes allow our experienced tutors to provide tailored feedback, ensuring that each child can progress at their own pace and build confidence in their abilities.
  • Portfolio Preparation: For students aiming for art scholarships or future study in art schools, we offer guidance in portfolio building, helping them prepare strong, diverse, and expressive works that stand out.
  • Creative Expression: Beyond technique, we encourage children to express their ideas and feelings through art, cultivating creativity, problem-solving skills, and emotional resilience.
Benefits of Joining Our Classes:
  • Develops fine motor skills, focus, and patience.
  • Encourages visual thinking and creativity, valuable for all future learning.
  • Builds confidence as children see their skills grow week by week.
  • Provides a constructive, screen-free weekend activity in a nurturing environment.
  • Opportunity to make friends with shared creative interests.
  • Guided by professional artists with teaching experience, ensuring high-quality instruction.
Why Sunny Art Centre?
Located in Central London, Sunny Art Centre offers a warm, welcoming space where children can explore their artistic potential. Our classes combine structured learning with the freedom of creative exploration, ensuring your child not only learns but also enjoys the process of making art. Parents often share how their children’s self-esteem and passion for learning flourish after joining our courses.
Whether your child is taking their first steps in art or looking to refine their skills for advanced study, our Kids & Teens Art Classes on Sundays are the perfect way to encourage lifelong creativity and a deeper appreciation of art.
