What you'll do
On the hunt for unique kids party ideas in Weybridge? Whether you're celebrating a birthday or you just fancy treating your family to some creative fun, this pirate-themed ceramic painting class is a great way to put a smile on some little faces!
To begin, your teacher will arrive dressed head-to-toe in full pirate, ready to hand out some arty materials and get you all started on your creative voyage. During this craft class, you will all use a variety of colourful paints to decorate your very own pirate skull.
Along the way, your friendly host and ship captain will demonstrate top tips and tricks for perfect pottery painting as well as providing you all with some arty inspiration to get those creative juices flowing.
As your little ones begin to choose their colours and apply paints to their one-of-a-kind skulls, they can enjoy the fun and social atmosphere as they practise their pirate lingo – shiver me timbers!
At the end of this crafty pirate party, you and your pirate crew will feel so proud of your finished skulls. Your teacher will then collect each ceramic skull and take them away to be fired and glazed. Don't worry though – you'll receive your finished masterpiece in the post, after all, what's a pirate without their treasure?
Please note:
Finished pieces will normally be fired and glazed within two weeks but lead times can be up to three weeks during a busy period.

Popolo Ceramico is a ceramics business that specialises in personalised ceramics. The business was founded by Christina Taylor-Chisholm in 2010. Christina studied Art in Newcastle upon-Tyne and has always had a passion for ceramics. Following the birth of her first child, after a career in Project Management Christina decided she wanted a much better work/life balance so decided to leave her job and set up a ceramics business. Combining her love of art, ceramics, interior design, bright colours and her background in business, Popolo Ceramico was created.
