I’ve always been creative since childhood. I was a wedding florist in Gretna Green from 1980-2000. I began counsellor training in 1996 and qualified in 2000. I integrated my creativity into my counselling practice. From 2002-2007, I was a trainer of counsellors using creativity in their practice as well as training counsellors. Between 2001 and 2012, I worked in the NHS as a counsellor and mentor. I’ve worked in primary and secondary mental health.

In 2008, I created "What Kind Of Tree Am I?"—my most loved creative therapies experience for adults. I have created around 200 creative courses in person and online for women who love self-development. I’ve been a counsellor, artist, and transformative coach since qualifying and love working either 1-2-1 or with groups in my garden studio.

I have taught door wreath-making workshops and worked for Inset, within education.
