Hi, I'm Kay. I started Just So Flowers about 20 years ago after leaving my job in television to start a new career as a florist. It began with a flower stall on the Essex Road in Islington where I lived at the time. Since then I've had two shops in London and now I work from my garden studio in Bromley in south east London where I focus on weddings and workshops.

I love teaching and I have always run workshops. I started with Christmas wreath workshops and they are still my most popular class. Every November and December is taken up with preparing and delivering these festive classes and I reckon I've taught more than 1, 000 people how to make a Christmas wreath!

When I had a shop there wasn't much time to run other classes but working from home has given me the opportunity to add more classes to my portfolio, including dried flower arranging and flower crowns which have proved very popular.

I love to teach and meet new people so running workshops is one of my favourite things to do. Guests always seem to enjoy the classes and are happily surprised to find working with flowers a calm and relaxing experience which is lovely!
