Junk Journaling Social Session

Welcome to the Creative Corner for all scrapbook/journaling lovers.

2 hours

Class size 1 to 6 (public classes), 2 to 40

  £17 - £25 (£17 for Public class; £25 for Private class)

Calling all journaling lovers! Junk Journaling is a wonderful, crafty way of channeling emotions and moods on to a portable journal. Is a very personal and aesthetic journey, and I love running these sessions.
Everyone has a very unique and bespoke way of working, and it is so beautiful to see the differences in every journal. I started journaling when I was 15 as a way to record my travel memories, and later that pivoted to more of a "sketchbook" type of journaling.
The Studio is full with scraps of paper, wash tapes, postcards, pens, stickers, glitter, magazines, you name it. You're also more than welcome to bring your own materials to the table, there is no limit!
The sessions are fun and cosy, aimed to have a relaxing and mindful moment with like-minded people, while turning off the noise from our very busy days. Think warm drinks, soft music, a small and intimate group and biscuits.
This class is meant for journalers who have been journaling for a while and for those who are thinking to join the movement alike. It runs regularly, and you can come as many times as you want to be part of the journaling community!
  • The studio is a small and intimate space, intentionally curated to create a welcoming and absolute judgement-free atmosphere. This place is ideal for folks who enjoy arts and crafts but prefer a calm and quiet atmosphere. We focus on the process more than the final result, working towards, together, the enjoyment of MAKING.
  • Booking early is highly advised, the studio has a capacity of 6 people max.
Closer to the date of your workshop, you will get an email with instructions on how to get here, as it can be a bit tricky to find and you can’t see us from the outside. Check your spam folder!
Hope to see you soon!
Mina
Disclaimer: Please bear in mind that if you’re enquiring for a bigger party, location will change. Either the host travels to you, or we go to one of the partnering venues. This will be followed up via email once you request.
