Strength & Stem started out of a desire to use floristry as a way to empower female survivors of modern slavery. Our work is more than just arranging flowers—it's about restoring lives and providing opportunities for modern slavery survivors to regain their independence. Every year Strength & Stem run holistic employability and skills training programs that combine vocational floristry training, mentorship, work experience, and life skills training for at least 15 survivors. We also run floral workshops for corporate clients across London and the Southeast. Profits generated from our floristry workshops are reinvested into our charity work.

Our florists love leading workshops because it allows them to share the beauty of floristry and raise the profile for Strength & Stem's meaningful work. We’ve been able to work with a wide range of amazing corporate teams, and while the business is still growing, our story has already touched many lives.
