Jietong Xu is currently studying Ceramics and Glass at the Royal College of Art (RCA). She previously earned a degree in Illustration and Visual Media from UAL LCC, where she developed a passion for integrating

illustration with diverse materials. Her practice has evolved from exploring familial bonds and emotional connections through sculptural forms to investigating how individual identity exists within collective structures. She uses glass as her primary medium and flames as her brush. Alongside her artistic practice, she has worked at a lampworking studio, designing courses and leading workshops.
