What you'll do
Want to add a handmade touch to your jewellery collection or perhaps make something special for a loved one or friend? Come along to this fun jewellery making class in London and learn how to make a beautiful pair of acetate earrings!
During this fun and friendly workshop, you'll be taken through the basics of working with recycled acetate - a semi-synthetic material made primarily from a plant base of tree pulp and cotton. With the help of a master maker, Jason, you'll learn how to cut, shape, mould and polish your acetate into eye-catching and one-of-a-kind earrings.
New to jewellery making? Don't worry, your friendly teacher will be there to offer on-hand support and guidance. And remember, this craft workshop is all about having fun, getting creative and trying something new!
At the end of this relaxing class, you'll take home your beautiful and unique acetate earrings and some cool new jewellery making skills to boot!
Pivot is an award-winning social enterprise that takes creative work and enterprise into hostels. All profits from this workshop are reinvested into their social mission of helping those experiencing homelessness. During the workshop, we'll have some jewellery to sell and all attendees will get 20% off.

Pivot is an award-winning social enterprise founded in November 2019 with the purpose of bringing creativity and momentum into homeless hostels. We believe that through making, we can engender self-worth and confidence, helping people to thrive.
We provide creative opportunities to people who are experiencing homelessness by teaching them how to design, make, market and sell handmade jewellery. We do all of this in hostels, thereby removing a lot of the barriers that people face when trying to access work.
Whilst we are not a charity, we are mission-driven and we invest all profits back into running our programmes.
