What you'll do
Add some sparkle to your day with this fun jewellery making class in Wolverhampton!
During this relaxed and enjoyable workshop, you will learn from a talented teacher and jeweller how to make and design your very own silver clay brooch.
During this jewellery making class, you will:
- Learn how to design a piece to certain specifications ensuring the stone and brooch back will add to the piece rather than just be functional.
- Discover how to ensure the embedded findings are securely fixed into place and how to fit the stone in once your piece has been completed.
- Add colour by using liver of sulphur and then learn how to get a high shine on your stunning piece.
By the end of this DIY jewellery workshop, you'll not only have a beautiful brooch to walk out of the class wearing but also some new skills!
Please note:
This workshop is currently only available on a one-to-one or one household/bubble basis.
Knowledge required
This course is more suitable for people with previous experience of silver clay making, e.g. if you have already taken the introduction to silver clay course, the beginner two-day course or the stone setting in silver clay workshop.
What you'll get
- All materials provided including 10g clay, the brooch back assembly parts, a finding to embed into your brooch and a stone to fit into your finding.
- Tea and cake or biscuits.
