The teacher was so friendly, patient and explained each step clearly, making the process easy to follow. I made a sterling silver ring with my son’s initials, which made it extra special, and I can’t wait to collect it in a few weeks. What I loved most was learning the techniques and creating something with my own hands in a relaxed and welcoming environment. The other participants were also very friendly, which made the evening even more enjoyable. It was such a fun and creative experience, and I would definitely recommend this class to anyone interested in jewellery making.

Tilly was absolutely wonderful, friendly, patient, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire process. She guided us through each step with clear instructions and genuine enthusiasm, making the experience both fun and relaxing. It was amazing to see our ideas come to life, and Tilly made sure everyone felt confident and creative while crafting their rings. We left with something truly personal and meaningful and huge smiles on our faces! Thank you, Tilly, for such an enjoyable and memorable session. We can’t wait to come back and do it again!

It was such an amazing experience, couldn’t recommend more! Tilly was a fantastic teacher and walked us through the ring making process, helping us design the rings in the styles we wanted. We opted for the polished solid gold which came out really well and even added some gems in there. We’re absolutely in love with our rings, and the fact that we designed and carved them ourselves makes it even more special. Thank you so much Tilly for everything!

Making a ring slightly different to the rest of the group she would explain the different steps I needed to make and how to create the twisted ring style I wanted. Tilly was a lovely host and teacher, and so helpful, guiding us through the techniques to make a ring using a wax casting method. It was simple and straightforward to create a piece from wax, and I was delighted by my result. Can’t wait to see the ring when it’s back from casting! Thank you

The intimate setting made it feel super special, and the instructor was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. She gave tips on how to achieve my design from the images I showed using the tools provided. The class was 3 hours long but time flew by so quickly. However, I managed to finish a ring design but rushed towards the end. The class was small and cosy and refreshments were provided too. Can’t wait to see how the ring turned out! Note: Definitely look up inspiration in advance so you don’t spend time during the workshop thinking of a design.

The class was small so there was lots of time for Tilly to help everyone individually with their designs. Lovely activity to take yourself on a date, definitely worth the cost!

Please note, you’ll pay for the class and there’s an additional fee for casting once you’ve completed your design. Overall a good experience would recommend for a couple or a pairing.

I came with a few ideas and images and was so pleased with the design I created at the end. I’d never made jewellery before or anything similar, so you definitely don’t have to be an expert to do this class! Overall it was such a lovely, welcoming space and class.

• 5/5 from Janet Leys, attended Jul 2024: The venue was upstairs from a nice boutique shop, Walthamstow. We were each given two Jewellery wax templates which we could use to form our ring. Tilly cam round each of us and discussed what design we wanted and which template was the best one to use for our ring. We then checked our ring size and then made our rings the required ring size. once this step was completed we started on the design of our rings. Tilly and her assistant we on hand to give advice on the best tools to use to get the desired effect. Overall a good course, can't wait to see the finished ring, once it has been cast into silver, and the gemstone I chose has been set into it.

The course was informative and we learnt about the casting process as well as the tools that we were going to be using for the day. The class was great value for money, the atmosphere was calming and very relaxed. Perfect for me, because my job is hectic. The other participants were also very nice and overall it added to the experience.
