What you'll do

Whether you've seen them in the shops and fancied making your own or you're looking for a unique gift for the interior design fan in your life, book your very own Jesmonite workshop in London and learn to make a set of coasters or oval tray that'll brighten up any room.

During this workshop, you’ll have fun choosing a colour palette for your coasters or tray and you will create your own bespoke Terrazzo chips to create your dazzling design. You will then pour this fascinating material into your silicone mould/moulds to form a set of two matching coasters or one oval tray. Once your pieces have set, the last part of the workshop will see you sanding and polishing your pieces to reveal your terrazzo design.

Don't worry if you've never attempted anything like this before, as you'll have the full support of your friendly host, who'll show you the ropes, give you plenty of expert tips and make sure you're happy with how you're picking up all the necessary skills.

At the end of the workshop, all coasters/trays will be sealed and ready to take home with you.

Please note: there is a 30 minute drying time during this workshop

Craft & Babble was created by Fashion Buyer Camille who turned to crafting during 2020 and discovered Jesmonite and Terrazzo. In a bid to get people together again to learn a new skill, chat and escape for a few hours in the day or evening Craft & Babble was born.

Craft & Babble hosts Terrazzo making workshops in and around North London and is available to book for parties, events, team building and corporate wellness days.
