I started my clay journey with pottery painting, the closure of the shop led me to buying the equipment to carry on at home, I then progressed to weekly college classes and fell in love with the potters wheel. I wanted to know how to fire my kiln properly and how to make glazes, this then led me to uni as a mature student completing a ceramic design degree. I feel pottery has more errors than success and is a forever learning process. I love the variety of clay and the therapeutic value I get from it, as someone who loves to learn I have found something that continues to amaze me and I enjoy sharing the knowledge I have gained over the years
