  • 5/5 from Jim Brennan, attended Jun 2026: The course was great. Richard the tutor judged the needs of the group very well and balanced the theory and practical elements perfectly. Plenty of practice time, space for questions and lots of useful advice to enable us to get started on personal projects. A fantastic facility alongside the other POW equipment.
  • 5/5 from Tanya, attended Jun 2026: Brilliant teacher, very informative and interesting. Great to see the inside of an air spray gun to understand the workings properly. I look forward to trying out these techniques in my own time.
  • 5/5 from Thomas Vernon, attended May 2026: Richard's Introduction to Spray Painting course is perfect to get you started with a spray gun. The course is very well thought out and covers all the basics you need get you going. As well as a good mix between theory and practice, Richard also tailors the course to match the requirements of the various people on the course. I would highly recommend the course for anyone wanting to learn this skill.
  • 5/5 from Jonathan Colhoun, attended May 2026: After numerous attempts at spraying with varied success I thought it was about time to attend a class to learn the skills form a professional. Learnt the anatomy of the spray gun and how the settings of air pressure, paint volume and fan width will produce a good end result. The class was very relaxed and Richard instilled confidence in me due to his easy going nature and obvious years of practical on hands experience. What I liked most was the fact that I left the class feeling good ongoing results are now achievable. Thks POW and Richard
  • 5/5 from Cindy Pickering, attended Mar 2026: I did the Introduction to Paint Spraying hosted by Richard. There were six of us in the group, which was a nice sized group. Richard was great, so helpful and patient. I learned a huge amount of theory and got to try my hand at spray painting too. The session was incredibly great value for money and if you are considering doing any spray painting and have doubts about the skills needed, go and try the session out, you will definitely leave with plenty of knowledge and confidence.
  • 5/5 from Christopher Lewis, attended Mar 2026: Richard was an amazing teacher and the facilities were perfect. Unlike other courses I’ve been on it was quite a bit of theory, which is how you make the practical stuff make sense. Richard also took time to understand why we were there and tailor the teaching to that. Just brilliant. The facilities are top notch, parking is a faf is the only negative.
  • 5/5 from Fiona, attended Mar 2026: Really enjoyable. Richard was very knowledgeable and I’m itching to give it a go now. Parking is tough though, so leave plenty of time to find it or take public transport.
  • 5/5 from Mj Mace, attended Feb 2026: Spray painting teacher Richard was excellent - he showed a sincere enthusiasm for the equipment, provided clear explanations and enthusiastically answered all questions
  • 5/5 from Nayda Venizelos, attended Feb 2026: I'm doing a kitchen refurb. Richard was amazing! He went through all the most important aspects. He's even open for project specific questions. I really enjoyed it.
  • 5/5 from Cliff Gidney, attended Jan 2026: Classroom theory and practical were very well presented. I enjoyed the course. Tutor answered all questions and gave me ideas and confidence to take next step and book the spray room.
  • 5/5 from James Hellings, attended Dec 2025: A great introduction to spray painting incorporating both a short classroom introduction and plenty of hands-on practical experience. Would thoroughly recommend.
  • 5/5 from Claude Goddard, attended Dec 2025: Was a great informative class with ample demonstration and practice! Richard was a great teacher and very knowledgeable. Very pleased to be able to say I know how to use a spray gun with confidence. Highly recommend
  • 5/5 from Jonathan Hodgson, attended Nov 2025: As a foundation to using a spray gun for finishing this was excellent, leaving me with a good understanding of the equipment involved, material preparation and enough hands on experience to have the confidence to move forward and work on developing my skills. Whilst in a single group session there is only time to practice the very basics on one material type, the teacher had a wealth of knowledge and was very happy to answer attendees more detailed questions related to their specific applications for spraying.
  • 5/5 from Tareg Al-Zamel, attended Nov 2025: Richard our instructor was great, knowladgable and helpful. He took us from basics to wven some advance stuff. Would definitely recommend
  • 5/5 from Russell Watkins, attended Sep 2025: This was a very good introduction to paint spaying. Thoroughly enjoyable and pitched by the tutor, Owen, at just the right level for a group of mixed abilities. Owen is a very knowledgeable tutor and prepared his course well; answering all the questions with the right level of technical information at the same time “personalising” to each person’s interest. It wasn’t easy for him to conduct his class in the entrance ‘corridor’ where one has to avoid wheelie bins entering and exiting the workshops. Some sort of seating(or ‘perching’) could be considered for the future. Iwent away full of enthusiasm! Thank you!!
