Discover the joy of ceramics in this 6-week pottery course in London, designed to give beginners a well-rounded introduction to handbuilding and surface decoration. You’ll explore a range of traditional pottery techniques while creating your own functional and decorative pieces.
Perfect for complete beginners, this course offers a relaxed and supportive environment where you can learn at your own pace and gain confidence working with clay.
What to expect:
  • Create a variety of hand-built projects, including tiles, coil-built bowls, pinch pots, lidded boxes, and vases, jugs, or mugs.
  • Learn key techniques such as coiling, pinching, slab-building, and joining.
  • Experiment with decorating methods and textures using a variety of tools and resources.
  • Take part in two glazing sessions to finish your work with your choice of colours and finishes.
  • All materials, tools, and firings are provided.
By the end of the six weeks, you’ll have a beautiful collection of handmade ceramic pieces and a solid foundation in pottery making, perfect for continuing your creative journey!
