What you'll do
If you're a keen potter and you'd like to improve on what you've learnt before, this pottery class will show you how to make something a bit more substantial and teach you some impressive wheel throwing skills.
Hosted by pottery expert Mathew Dimbleby, you'll learn how to create a larger item using wheel throwing techniques. Mathew will be on hand throughout the class to help guide your experience, giving you the benefit of his over 30 years of experience in the field.
You'll leave with some impressive new skills under your belt, eagerly awaiting your piece to be fired and collected later.
There are two different intermediate throwing classes to choose from: mug or jug with handle; long stem vase or bubble vase. Use the date selector to see availability or request a private class.

Intermediate -- experience of throwing needed.
What you'll get
All materials needed to make your chosen thrown item/s. These will be dried and fired before they are ready for collection, or they can be sent to you for an extra charge to cover the postage.
Your teacher
Mathew has been working in ceramics and art for over 3o years. He is a qualified teacher running pottery workshops for beginners through to advanced pottery skills. Dimbleby Ceramics was established in 2010 and has been running 5 star rated workshops since 2017. They have built a reputation for quality teaching, skills development and a experience that is fun and taught in a relaxed atmosphere. The studio is in a great setting with six pottery wheels overlooking a small wood and stream. It's a fantastic studio space to learn in.
