Hey, I’m Martina, founder of HEINMA Studio, an independent creative art studio tucked away in Clapham.

I’ve always been that person who needs to make things. Art has been my constant, and back in my nanny days it was my secret weapon. Art & Craft is here to bring calm, connection, curiosity, and joy but somewhere along the way, adulthood convinced us we need to be “good” at things. Make them perfect, polished, and frame-worthy. Kids, on the other hand? Zero fear, pure joy, and questionable amount of glitter. I’m making it my mission to bring this exact energy back to you!

Which is exactly why HEINMA studio was born. It all started as biweekly creative pop-ups in cafes and turned into an actual space where I get to guide others and help them switch off their brains, get their hands messy, and remember that creativity isn’t something you grow out of. It’s in fact the very opposite and we should lean more into it. No pressure. No rules. No judgement.

It’s incredibly rewarding to watch people light up over their little creation, new connections, and friendships.
