Design & Map: You will start by sketching a symmetrical layout on your wooden dial, marking the exact center and hour points to ensure your clock remains functional and balanced.

Add Your Color: Once the base is firm, you will apply rich acrylic pigments- from traditional earthy terracottas to modern metallic gold to highlight the base.

Design and create your own functional piece of art in this creative clock-making workshop in London. In this hands-on session, you’ll transform a simple base into a unique wall clock that reflects your personal style and home décor.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and anyone looking to enjoy a relaxed, creative experience while making something practical and beautiful.
What to expect:
  • Design your dial -- begin with a premium wooden or acrylic base, choosing a minimalist aesthetic or a bold, patterned layout that reflects your personal home décor style!
  • Apply your medium -- whether using fluid acrylics, wood stains, or decoupage, you will layer colours and textures to create a visually striking background for your clock face.
  • Mark the hours -- decide how to represent time, choosing from sleek metallic numerals, organic wooden markers, or even abstract points, ensuring your clock is as functional as it is beautiful.
  • Assemble the movement -- install a high-quality, silent quartz mechanism through the centre, carefully aligning the hour, minute, and second hands for perfect precision.
  • The final seal -- apply a protective matte or gloss finish, leaving you with a professional-grade timepiece ready to hang the moment you get home.

Hi! I’m Sayli, an artist, product designer, and creative soul who believes everyone has a little artist in them.
My love for art started early when I studied painting and art history in school. What began as curiosity soon turned into a lifelong passion. Over time I explored different mediums like acrylic, watercolour, and oil painting, and later went on to complete my Master’s in Product Design from the University for the Creative Arts in the UK. That experience helped me see creativity not just as art, but as a way of thinking and solving problems.
Alongside creating art, I started sharing my work online and built a small creative community that has now grown to over 11, 000 people who love art as much as I do. That journey showed me how powerful creativity can be in bringing people together.
Teaching is honestly one of my favourite parts of being an artist. I love helping people relax, experiment, and realise they’re far more creative than they think. Watching someone say “I didn’t know I could paint this!” is the best feeling.
When I’m not painting, I also work as a content creator and social media strategist, so creativity is truly part of everything I do. My workshops are designed to be fun, welcoming, and a little escape from the busy world - no pressure, just good vibes and creativity.
