Hand Sewing and Creative Upcycling Class

Learn how to sew by hand and transform a garment at this creative upcycling workshop in London!

2 hours Class size 1 to 6 (public classes), 4 to 8 label £75

Ready to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary? Join Nadia at her beautiful studio in Little London and discover how to transform your old garments into sustainable fashion pieces. You'll be amazed at how a simple top can be transformed into a work of wearable art!

Over two hours, Nadia will introduce you to her brand and the core values driving her work in the fashion industry, with a strong focus on sustainability. Get hands-on experience with the tools of the trade, including the sewing machine, as you embark on your upcycling journey. Together, we'll examine your garment, explore its style and potential, and decide on a unique design that reflects your personal taste.

Bring your design to life by creating a layout on your garment using scissors and your own hands. Learn the art of hand sewing, guided by Nadia, to ensure your embroidered flowers are securely and beautifully attached. Once your masterpiece is taking shape, it's time to sew and stitch, combining creativity and craftsmanship. As you work, indulge in refreshing tea and coffee, providing the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow participants and immerse yourself in the creative atmosphere.

As the workshop concludes, you'll proudly leave with your own upcycled garment -- a tangible symbol of your creativity and commitment to sustainable fashion. Wear it with pride, knowing that you've made a positive impact by reducing waste and embracing the art of upcycling.
