In this intimate and interactive 60-minute class, you'll learn the basics of gua sha massage, for you to build your practise upon at home. You'll be guided each step of the way through a full face massage routine that will leave your skin toned, sculpted, smoothed, and radiant.Gua sha facial massage is rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine. The Gua sha tool is designed to be pulled across the skin to help stimulate microcirculation, increase blood flow to the skin, and aid lymphatic drainage. This can help to tone the skin, help it feel firmer and lifted, smooth out the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and drain away puffiness.In the friendly, supportive, and intimate 60-minute class, we'll cover:
- How to clean and care for your gua sha
- How to hold and angle your gua sha correctly
- Which edge of your gua sha to use for different sections of your face
- Which products work best with your gua sha stone and skin
- The correct pressure and movement to apply to each section of your face
- Different techniques to tackle specific skincare concerns
