Tamara has always loved making things, but weaving has a particular place in her heart. With a degree in Textiles, she first explored weaving at university and felt an ancestral connection to the process.

She finds weaving soothing, relaxing and genuinely therapeutic, but also loves the way it stretches her imagination and gives her space to play with colour, texture and ideas. Tamara is a people person too, and gets enormous pleasure from sharing the skills she has learnt and helping someone else discover that they can make something for themselves.

Her workshops are about learning the skills, having a go and enjoying the process – you don't need to think of yourself as creative, and you certainly don't need to have woven before.
