‘Make with Molten’ is the workshop arm of glassware brand Molten 1090, founded by sisters Laura and Emily Smith in 2022. Day-to-day we create handblown glass tableware, lighting and decorative objects with a circular design ethos, but we also open our Stoke Newington studio doors for hands-on workshops, inviting people to experience the ancient craft of glassblowing.
Our team of experienced glass artisans will lead you through this creative journey step by step, showing you how to use specialised tools, apply glass colour, and to shape and blow glass. You’ll make your own glass creations and (after they’ve cooled down in the kiln) have some beautiful handcrafted pieces to adorn your home.
