Hosted in the seaside town of St Annes on the Sea at the Crescent Glass studio, this full-day craft workshop will teach you all the skills you need to make fused glass your new hobby!

Connect with an expert glass artist who will demonstrate techniques and teach you how to cut a selection of beautiful glass into a pattern. You'll learn how to copper foil your assembled glass and solder your shards together to craft a stunning stained glass suncatcher for your garden or home.

The afternoon will be spent looking at the basics of glass fusing. You'll examine exquisite pieces of glass art and have the opportunity to design and make up to two projects to be fired in the kiln, ready for collection the following day!

Whether you're searching for hands-on team building activities or DIY birthday gifts for a loved one, this full-day stained glass craft class is a great chance to connect with your creative side.

I opened the studio in 2015, having taken early retirement from teaching to help look after my mother. I wanted to do something that would combine my love of teaching and art. I am mainly self-taught but have attended several courses in both stained and fused glass over the years and have been lucky enough to do some one-to-one masterclasses with some of the country’s leading glass artists.
