Gather is a handmade glassware studio based in Woolwich, London, creating vibrant, sculptural pieces designed for joyful gatherings. Founded by glassmaker and designer Phoebe Stubbs, the studio brings 18 years of experience to every object and workshop.

Gather began during the pandemic as a way to reconnect, both with the craft of glassmaking and with friends around the table. The studio’s first collection, The Miami Collection, celebrated bold colour and playful form, setting the tone for Gather’s mission: to make glass that’s made to last, made by hand, and made to bring people together.

Glassblowing classes at Gather offer a rare, exciting opportunity to work with molten glass in a real production studio. From beginners to creative professionals, hundreds of students have experienced the thrill of gathering, shaping, and finishing their own pieces.

The studio is committed to future-proofing this endangered craft - running electric furnaces to reduce emissions, recycling waste glass, and sharing hands-on knowledge through welcoming, beginner-friendly teaching.

Whether attending a short workshop or exploring in-depth skills, guests are invited to experience this historic craft up close, and leave with something truly one-of-a-kind.
