Gabriele Bertucci (Gabs for friends) is a London-based marketing specialist and a drink industry professional. He has worked in various multicultural environments, with a decade of experience in the FMCG and hospitality industries. In 2020, he founded What's In The Glass?, a drinks-led marketing & communication agency. Gabriele also works as a marketing & brand consultant in the UK and Italy. He is an award-winning contemporary beer communicator, host, and curator of beer shows, events, training sessions, and tastings, with over ten years of international experience. He is also an Accredited Sommelier by The Beer & Cider Academy, a member of The British Guild of Beer Writers and a professional beer judge.

His introduction to the hospitality sector involved working in bars along the Tuscan coast beginning in 2010. Two years later, Gabs and his partner decided to move to London to work in pubs and immediately knew he was in the right place. Soon, his admiration for beer saw him working alongside Mother Kelly's, Clapton Craft, ORA Brewing, and London Fields Brewery. In recent years, he has worked in the marketing departments of the Carlsberg Group and BrewDog. He navigates and helps others navigate London through its traditional, modern, renowned, or lesser-known pubs. With his agency What's In The Glass?, he has researched and explored the London drinking community, organized food and beer pairings, and given speeches and talks about his favourite drinking beverages.
