If you're keen to learn the fundamentals of pottery, you might be surprised by how much you can learn in just one day! Under the guidance of experienced potter Mathew, this all-day class will cover clay preparation, centring the clay and understanding and developing basic forms.

During the course of the session, you'll pick up some impressive wheel throwing techniques, gaining useful hands-on experience as you make a variety of small items.

At the end of the day, you will have learnt how to make two different shapes of bowl and contemporary jugs. Choosing your three favourites to go through our double firing process before they are ready to take home.

Classes are kept small to make sure everyone has enough time to ask questions and enjoy the benefits of Mathew's years of experience — it's a brilliant way to get yourself started in this fun and expressive art form.
