Learn how to create your own beautiful floral arrangement in this fun, hands-on flower arranging workshop.This is the perfect creative activity to share with colleagues, friends, or family. You will have the chance to work with a wonderful selection of seasonal flowers, exploring their textures and colour palettes as you design a stunning bouquet. This class is completely beginner-friendly, so you don't need any prior experience – just a love for flowers!Your expert guide will teach you the names of the flowers, how to condition them for a long life, and the techniques to arrange them into either a classic all-round posy or a beautiful wild bouquet. All materials, from scissors to flowers and packaging, are provided.You will be working with a gorgeous selection of seasonal, long-lasting flowers and greenery, such as:
- beautiful blooms like roses, alstroemerias, lisianthus, and carnations
- delicate fillers such as wax flower, limonium, and gypsophila
- fragrant greenery like pistachio and scented eucalyptus

I've always loved flowers, and some of my earliest childhood memories involved their scents and colours. I remember the black, velvety tulips from my nans' garden, the heavenly fragranced roses and the blooming trees. They all have their place in nature and are perfect in their imperfections. Blooms, meadow flowers, vast fields of flowers, tropical plants, rare flowers or just the fresh, green colour of a shrub. They still take my breath away and always make everything more beautiful. They allow us to appreciate the joy of nature and the passing seasons. I’ve been in the industry for almost a decade and I have been so lucky and delighted to experience the world of flowers and events. Working with clients and being able to bring to life their aesthetic vision makes me happy. I've lived in South west London for a long time and love to walk in Richmond Park, Kew Gardens and the surrounding riverside areas to get inspiration for my floral work. Whilst I'm happy to provide traditional arrangements when required, I also love making arrangements that have an untamed, wilder and more natural appearance. About the business:Lilac & Bloom is a women-led company that started as a small, independent flower business in South west London in 2015 and the aim since then is to provide a bespoke and outstanding customer service. We pride in creating unique floral arrangements, displays and hand tied bouquets whilst caring for nature, sustainable resources and low carbon footprint.
