Whether you’re looking to brush up on your skills or you’re completely new to acrylic paint pouring, this is a great way to learn simple techniques. The workshop will involve ring pouring and flip cup pouring, showing you different ways to pour your paint to achieve two beautiful results.
The Hobbycraft Artisan will take you through each step of the pouring process, guiding you with tips and tricks along the way. Enjoy mastering the techniques and sparking your creativity as you try your hand at this relaxing, artistic activity.

Please note, our workshop spaces in some stores are located in open areas and we will endeavour to minimise interruption from other crafters.
This workshop is also available as a private workshop for group bookings of 4+.

So I looked online and found out that my local hobby craft offered an opportunity to try it out. When I arrived the lady teacher was very welcoming. It was conducted upstairs in a corner of the shop the space was fine. I was presented with an acrylic pouring kit and she set me up for my first go. First attempt of mine was a train wreck, hers looked pretty good. I had enough material to manage 4 pours. She was good fun and I enjoyed the hour lesson which also gave me time to think about what would be needed to do all this at home. Glad I done it as it's definitely better to have a go first before committing to going all in and buying everything. Would recommend this to anyone thinking of acrylic pouring. Thanks Hobbycraft.

There was plenty of paint but not everything in the kit was useful. This is a very messy thing to do and it was not a good idea that washrooms were closed, although staff did let us use them as it was necessary to wash hands. After the workshop we had panels with wet paint and no suitable way to take them home.
