Recent reviews of Beginner's Guide to Acrylic Paint Pouring
- 5/5 from Anne Ford, attended Jun 2025: Amazing...loved the session.... time flew! Chris was so helpful, informative and friendly.. lovely lady. Enjoyed all aspects of session. Definitely recommend
- 2/5 from Chinmaya Pai, attended Dec 2024: Chris was our teacher. She was friendly and welcoming. I guess the time given for this activity is not sufficient. And in my honest opinion, this activity is not for people who live far from the activity centre. The paint needs good 5-7 days to dry up properly. Getting the wet flowing paint in a car destroyed all the efforts of creating it. Activity centre should provide postage and courier service for extra charges for those willing to take it.
- 5/5 from Marion Brennan, attended Jan 2023: Chris was great, friendly reassuring and non judgemental- important when you are trying something new. The materials were good, came away with two pieces. Had a lovely hour doing something new.
- 5/5 from Gillian Paull, attended Nov 2022: Lovely lady Chris guided me thru the workshopvery informativelots of suggestions. Great starter kit included. Fun way to spend an hour away from day 2 day routinejust remember to switch ur phone offit could get messy!
- 5/5 from Clare Cameron, attended Aug 2022: I had a great time learning the basics of acrylic paint effects. Attending a workshop like this is a great way to give yourself permission to 'get in and have a go' in a way that you probably wouldn't at home. The kit provided was great, and I brought home some artwork and enough spares to have another go at home. The tutor was lovely - really relaxed and encouraging.
- 5/5 from Anita Park, attended Aug 2022: Acrylic paint pouring was fantastic! Tutor was really friendly, explanations were absolutely on point and the activity was so much messy fun! Plenty of supplies left for further experimentation at home. Would happily recommend to all ages and abilities
- 5/5 from Susan Bovington, attended Aug 2022: Chris, our tutor at Truro, was full of enthusiasm and useful information and tips. She led us through the process in easy to understand steps, encouraging us along the way. Although it was lovely to each have our own box of materials to unwrap, there was far too much excess packaging. At Chris' suggestion we used the cardboard box to carry our wet canvases home, but it was quite cumbersome. Perhaps some thought should be given to a smaller, more practical solution to this issue. Overall it was a great introduction to acrylic paint pouring, at a good price and I would recommend it.
