Met at the market for a little tour - such beautiful flowers and such good prices - I bought an armful! We were treated to a delicious coffee on our way back to the studio where we had the most stunning and eclectic collection of flowers waiting for us. We were taught how to prepare them, and how to arrange them in a handheld bouquet. So impressed with all of our efforts! It wasn’t easy but really great teachers gave us confidence and excellent instruction. We also met a couple of lovely ladies also in our class and came home with the new ability to properly arrange our market flowers! Really gorgeous morning and would highly recommend!

Nono met us on time at the New Covent Garden Flower Market and was a friendly and engaging guide, and gave us tips about choosing flowers. We definitely got more out of the visit than we would have done going by ourselves. After exploring the flower market we travelled by public transport to the studio in trendy Hoxton for flower arranging. We stopped at Grind coffee shop at my request (as I was desperate for coffee after an early start to get to flower market). Nono kindly treated us to coffees which were excellent. At the studio we finished our coffee and met Holly who showed us how to create a bouquet with seasonal flowers using the spiral technique. Holly was very patient and knowledgable. The studio space is very pleasant and in the heart of Hoxton. I am confident I can now choose flowers from the market and create bouquets using the technique learned. I have given 4 stars instead of 5 because I think the class at £270 for 2 a bit pricey for what is offered as although it was advertised as 3 hours it took 2 hours 15 mins so we were finished by 10:45 rather than 11:30 as advertised. There is also about 30 minutes travel by public transport between the Flower Market and the studio. I am a London local so tube travel isn’t any form of novelty or interest for me but maybe for people out of town that part might be of value.

Our guide was very passionate about flowers, knowledgeable about the Columbia Road market and super helpful. We went to her studio and learnt the basics of putting together a bouquet using the spiral technique. She had purchased lots of flowers for us to use and we were able to make lovely large bouquets. She even sent us off with some of the leftover flowers. I also bought a lot of plants at the market too, so it was a struggle getting home. Take extra bags! I thoroughly recommend as an activity to do with a mother/daughter or with a friend. You will leave with at least one bouquet if not other purchases so make sure you are planning to go home fairly soon afterwards!

Khin talked us through Columbia Road Flower Market, he was always ready to answer questions and was so charming, friendly and knowledgable. We then went back to his studio where he had a fabulous choice of flowers for us to create a seasonal hand tied bouquet. He showed us step by step what to do and we all went home with a stunning bouquet having had plenty of support from Khin and his team to create it. He also recommend a great local coffee shop and a fantastic local Vietnamese restaurant. We had such a great time, it was so much fun and the pace was just perfect. Relaxed but we also learnt some great tips and techniques. Still smiling the next day! Thank you Khin!

We had a tour around the flower market, got tips how to choose flowers, then we got to choose flowers that we'd like to include in our bouquet. We then went to the studio where everything else (tools, some additional flowers etc.) was provided, and after his presentation we made our own bouquets. I was pleasantly surprised how much I learnt in that short period. Khin is very good at explaining, very patient and helpful. I would definitely recommend his workshop to anyone to get a brief experience with a beautiful world of flowers

Khin is very friendly, attentive and knowledgable - you can tell he is very passionate about his craft and goes out his way to tailor the experience to what you want out of it! I thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the workshops - the guided walking tour, learning the craft of flower arranging and having a go ourselves, chatting with Khin and of course bringing home a beautiful bouquet you designed each to take home. I came into the workshop with very little knowledge and this experience has definitely inspired me to add more florals to my home (or even creating my own to gift!). I thoroughly recommend this workshop - it will not dissapoint!

Khin is very informative and friendly. He went through the basics of flower arranging; how to handle the bouquet and given us insight on how to make it pleasing to the eye. He encouraged us to be creative! The venue is comfortable and had enough space for 4 students, not to mention his beautiful work and its lovely being surrounded by flowers! Totally recommend.
