Join this luxury wine tasting and pasta making class in London for a hands-on culinary experience that combines the elegance of Italian viticulture with the timeless craft of traditional cooking.
This immersive event is hosted by two passionate experts, Carl and Luca, who bring together years of knowledge to create a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. Your evening begins with Carl, a wine educator who makes discovering new grapes feel like a chat with a friend. You’ll start with a glass of Prosecco on arrival, followed by a fascinating comparison with Franciacorta – Italy’s refined answer to Champagne. Carl will guide you through a journey across Northern Italy, introducing:
  • Soave (100% garganega) – a vibrant white wine from volcanic hills, celebrated for its fresh citrus and floral character
  • Valpolicella ripasso – a rich yet elegant red wine, layered with deep cherry fruit and silky texture
  • Recioto della valpolicella – a historic sweet wine offering luxurious flavours of dark fruit and cocoa
Alongside the tasting, Luca will show you how to create fresh pasta from scratch using traditional techniques. These workshops are designed to feel like an evening among friends in Italy – social, uplifting, and full of flavour. After a warm welcome with premium antipasti, you'll get stuck into the dough, rolling and shaping it into two beautiful handmade styles: tagliatelle and farfalle.
As you work, Luca will share stories about Italian food culture and the secrets behind the perfect bite. Once your creations are ready, he'll cook them up and serve them with two delicious sauces: a rich traditional meat ragù and a creamy courgette and double cream sauce topped with crispy pancetta. You’ll then sit down to enjoy your meal as more wine is poured and the garden fills with conversation and laughter.
You’ll leave with a refreshed sense of culinary confidence, wonderful memories, and the spark of inspiration to recreate these authentic flavours in your own kitchen.
Please note: Vegetarian options and other special dietary requirements can be accommodated with advance notice.

5.0 (157)

I started Cook with Luca because I wanted to share the joy of making traditional Italian soul food from scratch.
The aim of my pasta workshops is simple: to help you relax, enjoy yourself, and connect with others while sharing ideas, cooking tips, and a glass of wine over a delicious meal.
My classes are not only about cooking — they’re an opportunity to learn new skills, deepen your knowledge of Italian culture, and socialise with like-minded food lovers. Most importantly, I want you to leave feeling more confident in the kitchen, ready to invite friends and family over and impress them with your homemade dishes.
