Festive Felting Class: Everlasting Mistletoe

If you're searching for new Christmas craft ideas or you're on the hunt for creative London activities to try with a group, this felting class in Camberwell could be just what you need! Hosted in a welcoming London studio, this beginner-friendly workshop will help you transform wire, wool, felt and binding into a gorgeous sprig of mistletoe to decorate your home. You'll learn from expert teacher Heather, who will help you get to grips with simple hand sewing and wire wrapping techniques before you create branches and leaves using floristry wire and high-quality wool. Finally, you'll attach the berries and leaves by hand stitching and add a final flourish to your stunning mistletoe with a piece of red organza ribbon. Whether you're enjoying an afternoon of Christmas crafts with your family or getting creative with a group of like-minded others, you're sure to end this experience with a beautiful sprig of mistletoe and some fantastic new skills. Please note: As you will be cutting your leaves during the workshop you may not stitch all of these and the berries to your sprig within the session. However, you'll be given sufficient materials to do so at home.If you can't make my dates consider a private workshop or the video kit.For this class my home studio will accommodate 6 max. If your group is larger I’m happy to come to you. NB: Please note I am not available to run this workshop after 5pm on 14th December owing to other commitments.

• All of the materials and equipment you need to make a sprig. If you would like to make more you can purchase extra materials at the end of the workshop.
