6 hours Class size 1 to 12     label £75

The perfect introduction to fabric screen printing, this beginner-friendly craft workshop is a great way to explore your creativity in a new way.

Printing expert Holly will be guiding you through this exciting class, giving demonstrations on the process and sharing top tips as you give it a go yourself.

Ideal for textile artists wanting to add unique touches to their sewing projects, you'll be coming up with your own one to two-colour designs and learning how to print them on a meter of fabric. This can then be transformed into cushion covers, tea towels and more.

The first half of the day will start off with a welcome as you are taken through the studio and printing process. Learn how to coat and expose your design onto the screen and then take a 30-minute break for lunch. This is the perfect time to explore the range of food kiosks in the same building as the studio.

In the afternoon you will then decide on colours, select print pastes, and set up fabric tables before giving the final print a go. Leaving you with custom screen-printed fabric to take home.
