Explore Art Mediums at Home

On the hunt for new things to make at home or need indoor activities to enjoy with a group? Unleash your creativity and explore a selection of art mediums with this fully interactive online course.

Suitable for students of all abilities, this series of ten online art classes will help you learn drawing skills, master new painting techniques and experiment with mixed media as you create stunning pieces in a friendly, encouraging virtual environment.

You'll begin by learning simple techniques, using pencils and a cartridge paper drawing pad to develop your sketching skills before moving on to acrylics, inks and colour pencils. Each week, you'll be kept up to date on the materials you can expect to use and what to bring to the sessions, giving you plenty of time to prepare.

Your teacher, Northamptonshire artist Jamie Poole, will demonstrate plenty of techniques and provide one-to-one feedback and support live from his studio, so you can focus on having lots of fun and building your art skills!

At the end of this inspirational online course, you'll have a whole host of handmade art to display and a creative new skill set, ready to continue developing at home.

Please note:
Dates for the ten sessions of the April art course are:

• April 25th.
• May 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th.
• June 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th.
• July 4th.

After the first session, the next session is: 9 May 7pm-9pm, then the same day and time each week for the next eight weeks.
