Hi I'm Karen. I started as an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher in 2022 when I decided to use my passion for helping people meet their goals while making it fun. I love to help my students, who initially are struggling with basic conversations, confidently speak in English on different subjects. I love teaching because it allows me to connect with people from different backgrounds and cultures. It's incredibly rewarding to see my students progress and achieve their goals. Teaching English is not just about language; it's about empowering individuals, building confidence, and opening doors to new opportunities. I strive to create a fun and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable and motivated to learn. I have taught over 900 students, many long term, so we can work on the subjects you want to and at your pace.One interesting aspect of my journey is that I’m currently travelling around the Caribbean while teaching. This unique experience allows me to immerse myself in different cultures and bring those experiences into my lessons. I also love to read, take photographs and try local foods.
