Join this dried flower terrarium workshop at the Admiral Hardy in Greenwich and enjoy a beautifully relaxed experience where nature and mindful making come together. This hands-on session invites you to slow down and connect with natural materials as you create a timeless botanical piece. Hosted in a warm, welcoming venue, it’s the perfect immersive escape for anyone looking to find their creative spark.
You'll start by discovering the story behind the blooms, many of which are grown on a family farm in Suffolk and dried slowly to preserve their character. During this terrarium-making class, you'll be guided through the process of designing a miniature landscape beneath a delicate glass dome.
You'll learn how to:
  • Select and layer materials – Master the balance of depth, colour, and form using high-quality preserved foliage.
  • Compose with intention – Create a harmonious botanical display that feels both elegant and unique.
  • Work with natural textures – Explore different elements to make your glass dome a one-of-a-kind keepsake.
Whether you're coming solo or with friends, the atmosphere is social and restorative. There's no need to feel any creative anxiety; this workshop is perfect for first-timers. Our supportive approach ensures you'll feel confident as you explore your own style with expert help nearby. All materials are provided, and you can even grab a drink from the bar to enjoy while you work.
This session is a wonderful way to switch off from the everyday and reconnect with your hands. You'll finish the class feeling completely refreshed, heading home with a stunning, long-lasting botanical feature that brings a touch of the outdoors into your space.
