Drawing Workshop at the Library

Come to the library for a relaxing and mindful creative drawing session.

1.5 hours Class size 1 to 10 guests       Free

Join us at Ealing Central Library for some Fun and Relaxing Creative Drawing!
We will be hosting two Creative Drawing sessions between Winter and Spring 2025, where we will be discovering the Art of Creative Drawing, plus learn a few tips and tricks that will help you improve your observation and drawing skills. We will also learn how drawing could be a vehicle for relaxation and mindfulness, and also how colours communicate feelings and emotions.
The sessions will be lead by practicing Artist and Illustrator Miguel Galue Piqueras, who has more than 20 years of professional experience in the world of Art and Design and has created these sessions with adult beginners in mind: No experience required and all drawing materials will be provided, plus some bottled water and light snacks.
These two sessions at Ealing Central Library will be offered free of charge, as part of an Ealing Council initiative, and will take place on the following dates:
  • Saturday 11.01.25
  • Saturday 15.02, 25
We only have capacity for x20 guests for each session, and we can only offer x10 here in ClassBento so it is important to book in advance!
Please let me know if you have further questions - and if you have any specific accessibility requirements, please do let me know in advance as we need to confirm access with the Library Management.
Hope to see you at the Library for some creative drawing!

  • 5/5 from Jyoti Patel, attended Feb 2025: Very good indeed. Comfortable and relaxing. Would like more really. Enjoying moments for aged people
  • 5/5 from Janet Wilkes, attended Feb 2025: Our teacher was friendly and professional and showed us clearly what he wanted us to do. We had a model to draw in charcoal and after the break we worked freehand in coloured pastels. It was a very enjoyable way to spend a cold Saturday afternoon.
  • 5/5 from Ekta M, attended Jan 2025: Had a lovely experience in learning drawing and illustration techniques. Really a calming and a relaxing afternoon. Will definitely do again!
