Improve your observational sketching and learn how to sketch in one-point perspective at the V&A Museum, with experienced illustrator and tutor Natalie Arnold.
This morning session is aimed at improving your observational sketching using perspective drawing techniques. It is suitable for all - beginners who are new to drawing, artists wanting to improve their technique and designers looking to enhance their freehand sketching skills. Some drawing experience is helpful but not essential as tuition is tuned to the individual - whatever level of drawing you are currently at!
You will be calmly guided through the perspective sketching process in what aims to be an enjoyable and creative session. A maximum of 8 students enables more individual attention for each student and a better learning experience.

What to bring
  • A4 or A3 Sketchbook
  • Pencils – HB and a 2B
  • A mechanical pencil with HB lead
  • Fineliners - fine and medium (0.2 and 0.5)
  • An eraser
  • A sharpener
  • Some coloured pencils or pens if desired
  • Small ruler helpful but not essential

Natalie is an artist, illustrator, designer and tutor based in London. After graduating in interior architecture BA Hons, she worked within the interior design industry, whilst also practising as an artist. She recently published an interior themed colouring book and is a specialist in interior illustration.
Her drawing classes are engaging, calming, fun and educational. In her testimonials participants often comment on how much they have learned. For the beginner Natalie believes everyone can learn to draw and for the intermediate to advanced, there is always something more to learn or develop.
