Your teacher
Sophie Willison is a freelance artist passionate about teaching. She has been self publishing her own magazine, terra firma, for almost a decade, bringing together artists from all over the world to collectively realise an annual theme. Sophie has a keen interest in analogue photography, design, publishing, curating and editing and is always working on exciting new projects. Working part time as a photography assistant in a North London based school, she is always learning new skills and learning from her students. She has guest lectured and given workshops at a variety of institutions from Guildford College, Westminster University and Parliament Hill school. She has run and successfully delivered workshops as part of Berridge, a gap year programme for students based in Normandy, France. She is currently designing a month-long studio art course as part of Oxbridge this July, taking place in Oxford.
