Hi, I'm Declan.

I would never consider myself an artist. I have a strong suspicion that if I had enough motivation and time I could actually become a half decent artist. Then again I don't have a lot of space or materials or desire to sell art and have my name in lights somewhere. Instead I want to concentrate on bringing what I have learned about accessible and affordable art creation to others.

I have tried and failed and tried again at drawing, doodling, abstract, digital abstract. Some time ago I watched a few hundred hours of youtube excitement about Paint Pouring / Acrylic Art / Fluid Art and loved it. I loved trying it and loved the fact that I could affordably produce something which looked like a little piece of art. I studied what materials others use and experimented with many of these. I was genuinely thrilled to create something really colourful and impressive without too much learning involved.

I am now bringing my excitment and knowledge to others. I hope my students feel like real artists and find the same joy I found in paint pouring. I am considering trying marbling, textured art and Japanese Suminagashi but that's for another day.
