It's also a brilliant skill for any aspiring knitter or tailor to have in your repertoire.During this workshop, you'll start with a brief history of techniques from different cultures and look at some examples and tools. The majority of the time will then be given over to hands-on practical work, as Socko founder Emma teaches you how to create a sturdy and beautiful visible mend.The session will be fuelled by the obligatory bottomless biscuit tin and hot drinks!Groups are kept small so that everyone gets enough one-to-one attention. Whether you've never even picked up a needle or you're an experienced fabric crafter, this introductory session is the ideal stepping stone to a more sustainable life.
