What you'll do
Don't we all love a cosy, knitted jumper? Well we know the moths do too! If your favourite knitted item is in need of extra love, bring it to this sewing class in Worcester Park and learn how to cover any holes.
Using a handy process called darning, you'll learn how to hand sew and fix any holes in your piece of chosen knitwear. But the fun doesn't stop there! During this three-hour workshop, you will also add pretty designs using embroidery techniques and just like that you have a new and improved item to spruce up your wardrobe.
Hand embroidery designs are a great way to revamp once loved items of clothing in a sustainable and fun way. You can fix holes, cover stains and some colour into tired items with just a few well-placed stitches.
By the end of this craft class, you will have a whole new addictive craft to love and use again and again at home. There will be patterns and embroidery floss available to purchase if you do want to keep up this hobby at home on even more clothes.
