What you'll do

In this 4-hour workshop with photographic artist Catriona Grey, you'll learn in a small group how to coat paper with cyanotype sensitiser and expose it to UV light using your choice of abstract objects or plants.

Throughout the class, Catriona will guide you and a small group of fellow participants as you delve into the world of cyanotype chemistry and image-making. Don't worry if you're new to this process—the warm and uplifting teaching style will alleviate any fears and provide you with the support and guidance you need.

The workshop will provide a mindful and enjoyable environment where you can explore your creativity and end up with cool prints everyone will ask you about! You'll gain hands-on experience mixing chemicals and applying them by hand with brushes.

All materials will be supplied, and you will be able to make 6-8 small prints.
