Ready to move beyond basic squares? In this crochet workshop in London, we’re ditching the confusing charts and written patterns! Instead, you’ll learn the organic way to crochet by following a live demonstration and using a finished example as your guide.
Already know the basics of crochet? Perfect! This workshop is ideal for beginners who want to take the next step and start creating more independently in a relaxed and supportive environment.
What to expect:
  • Construct a symmetrical triangle bandana using a finished piece as a visual map.
  • Develop your "crocheter's eye" -- the ability to look at an item and understand how it was made.
  • Learn the "centre-out" growth technique.
  • Master the "increase logic" that keeps your bandana flat and triangular.
  • Add custom borders (scallops or clean edges).
  • Learn to finish your edges with professional ties, no pattern required!
By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with your own handmade triangle bandana and a stronger understanding of crochet structure, helping you approach future projects with more confidence and creativity.
What you'll get
  • All the yarn and hooks needed to start your project are provided.
  • You’ll leave the class with your bandana-in-progress (or finished, depending on your speed!) and the skills to make dozens more.

I learned how to crochet when I was 12, starting with home pieces like rugs. A few years later, I discovered the amigurumi technique. I thought I wouldn't like it because of the small stitches and the patience required for sewing, but I fell in love! I love being able to create dolls and animals.
Besides that, I also enjoy making bags and some clothing. My favourite piece, however, is the shawl. What I love most about crochet is the magic of seeing a simple ball of yarn transform into something tangible, whether it's a bag, an amigurumi, or a shawl.
Even though I've been crocheting for over a decade, my journey as a teacher is a more recent chapter. For many years, my craft was a personal passion, a way to relax and create for myself, friends, and family. In recent years, I have started sharing my knowledge informally, teaching friends and small groups the foundations of crochet.
In my classes, I focus on making the process clear and stress-free, especially for beginners. I have experience guiding people through their first stitches and helping them master techniques like the Magic Ring and tension control. I am now transitioning into formal teaching and I am excited to help the ClassBento community discover the joy of creating their own handmade characters.
