Suitable for beginners. You do not need to know how to crochet - however, some hand skills and patience are a must! Children must be 14 and over.
What to bring
If you wear glasses for close-up work, you will need to bring them. All tools will be provided.Free tea, coffee, and biscuits are available throughout.

From my studio of 18 years at the famous Cockpit Studios Bloomsbury in the heart of London, I create my highly specialised and beautiful textile inspired jewellery.Using my signature crochet and French-knitting techniques I conjure fine gold and silver stitches into sweeping fluid curves embellished with tiny diamonds and pearls.I grew up surrounded by the treasures of my mothers sewing room, full of thread, ribbons, trimmings, buttons and flowing fabric.I became fascinated with how similar fine wire was with fine thread - and started experimenting with wire weaving, twining, knitting and crochet.I established my studio at Cockpit Studios, Bloomsbury in 2006 selling and exhibiting at major Fairs such as Origin and Goldsmith's Fair and exhibitions in Japan and New York.I have run my own jewellery classes for the last 15 years from my studio at Cockpit and for the famous West Dean College in Chichester, and the V&A - passing on my specialist knowledge, hints and tips to inspire you on your jewellery journey
