Creative Writing Course: Single Project

Start a new writing project, make significant progress, or complete your novel in this course.

12 x 2 hours Class size 1 to 15     label £249

In this creative writing class, you'll have the opportunity to focus on a single project of any length, allowing you to fully delve into your writing and bring your ideas to life. Whether you have a well-formed idea or just the beginnings of a concept, this class is for you. No previous writing experience is required, so don't worry if you're new to the craft.

Throughout the course, you'll have the chance to participate in a weekly workshop with other writers, where you can submit sections of your work-in-progress for discussion and feedback. This collaborative environment will provide valuable insights from fellow writers and help you refine your ideas. You can submit sections of up to 2, 000 words for each workshop session.

The possibilities for your project are endless. Whether you're working on a novel, short story, poetry, or any other genre or medium, this class welcomes all types of projects. From sci-fi and fantasy to memoirs and historical fiction, there are no limits to what you can create.

Not only will you have the opportunity to receive feedback on your work, but you'll also engage in discussions about the writing craft. This will deepen your understanding of the creative process and inspire you to push the boundaries of your storytelling abilities.

At the end of the course, you'll have the chance to submit a sample of 5, 000 words, a synopsis, and a formal query letter to publishers, agents, or production companies. This post-course editorial response will provide valuable guidance and insights as you navigate the world of publishing.
