12:00: Shopping

When you're ready, take some time to shop at the on-site artisan market. You'll find an array of lovely things, from handbags and crochet, to flowers and art.

Spend a feel-good morning making jewellery, catching up over tea and cake, and browsing craft stalls – a proper little day out that's as sociable or as quietly indulgent as you want it to be.
The centrepiece is a one-hour jewellery making workshop where you'll create earrings, bracelets, and more using a lovely mix of acrylic, glass, and clay beads in a range of colours. The goal is simple: make as many pieces as you can, in whatever combinations take your fancy. Gift boxes and bags are included, so anything you make is ready to keep or pass on to someone who'd love it.
Afterwards, there's time to relax with included refreshments and browse a small selection of craft stalls – a gentle, unhurried pace that makes the whole morning feel like a treat. Small group numbers keep things intimate, and whether you come solo or with a group of friends, you'll feel right at home from the moment you arrive.
Coming with five or more people? You'll receive a complimentary bottle of Prosecco to share.
Other workshops (bookable separately) are:
  • 12:15 - 13:00: Seasonal wreaths
  • 14:00 - 15:00: Acrylic painting
  • 15:45 - 16:45: Body scrubs & bath soak
What you'll get
  • One or more pieces of beaded jewellery with gift boxes and pouches.
  • Hot drinks and homemade cake.
  • The chance to shop at the on-site market.

FAQ

Can children book onto workshops?
Sorry, our workshops are all adult-only, but children are welcome to come into the hall to browse the craft stalls throughout the day and watch the workshops for a while if space allows.
Is there parking?
There is very limited parking on site, but you can park at nearby Roomes car park or Hoppy Hall car park. Upminster has good public transport connections with the Liberty (Romford) line, district line from London and local buses.

I have been creative all my life and have worked as a graphic designer for over 20 years now. I recently wanted to get back to my craft roots and now teach monthly workshops at a private residence in London, from Sip and Paint to beaded jewellery and seasonal wreaths. This summer I've decided to put on my first major event, mixing a full day of creative workshops with an on-site artisan market, bringing together talented local makers and giving people the opportunity to create something they've made themselves, a chance to relax and enjoy.
